The truth about resort and consecration in Quran

There are many areas in Quran talking about the act of Resort. Messengers and holly guides have gained the position of intermediary between The Glorious God and his followers, due to their constant prayers, infallibility and following God’s path through worship and servitude. They have also become a role model for others who wish to walk on the path of God’s devotees. Hence, The Glorious God has given them the privilege of asking for forgiveness on behalf of other followers who regret their sins and wish to achieve abundance and fulfillment through prayers (dua) in life.

Hence, the act of asking for messengers and holly guide’s intermediator and assistance in achieving our spiritual and material well being is not considered the sin of shirk.

Followers who seek holly guides’ assistance are looking for additional means to get closer to The Glorious God and achieve a closer relationship with them, too. As God mentions:  

يا أيها الّذين آمنوا اتّقوا الله و ابتغوا إليه الوسيلة =>  مائده، آیه ۳۵٫

O you who have believed, fear Allah and seek the means [of nearness] to Him and strive in His cause that you may succeed=> Al-Maaida:35

And in another surah God has mentioned:

أُولَئِكَ الَّذِينَ يَدْعُونَ يَبْتَغُونَ إِلَى رَبِّهِمُ الْوَسِيلَة=> اسراء، آیه ۵۷٫

Those whom they invoke seek means of access to their Lord, [striving as to] which of them would be nearest, and they hope for His mercy and fear His punishment

Al-Israa:57

For example returning dead to life by Jesus through God’s will, as he was relying on his resort in God:

وَأُبْرِئُ الأكْمَهَ والأَبْرَصَ وَ اُحیی الموتی => آل‌عمران، آیه ۴۹:

And I cure the blind and the leper, and I give life to the dead – by permission of Allah=> Aal-i-Imraan: 49

And Joseph has mentioned to his brothers:

اذْهَبُواْ بِقَمِيصِي هَذَا فَأَلْقُوهُ عَلَى وَجْهِ أَبِي يَأْتِ بَصِيرًا وَأْتُونِي بِأَهْلِكُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ => یوسف، آیه ۹۳:

Take this, my shirt, and cast it over the face of my father; he will become seeing. And bring me your family, all together.=> Yusuf:93

فَلَمَّا أَن جَاء الْبَشِيرُ أَلْقَاهُ عَلَى وَجْهِهِ فَارْتَدَّ بَصِيرًا قَالَ أَلَمْ أَقُل لَّكُمْ إِنِّي أَعْلَمُ مِنَ اللّهِ مَا لاَ تَعْلَمُونَ=> یوسف، آیه۹۶:

And when the bearer of good tidings arrived, he cast it over his face, and he returned [once again] seeing. He said, “Did I not tell you that I know from Allah that which you do not know?” .=> Yusuf:96

There is no doubt The Glorious God could have cured Jacob’s eyes without Yusuf’s shirt, or would had the river open without Moses’ stick, or would had the murderer in Children of Israel without slaughter of the cow.

And Belqis’s bed could have been presented without the help of Asif bin Barkhaya, but God has used all of these as examples of how he uses different means to help his followers.

Effort and result can also be seen in the cosmos, for example we cannot condemn Dr’s office as places on polytheism or Shirk, since they use medical knowledge to cure the patients. With some attention, we can see all the world’s movement are through different means, all of which are the result of God’s will.

Similarly, the separation of soul from body is done by Angel of death, but it is upon God’s will.

Using resort means utilizing the authority of holy followers given by The Glorious God to those devotees. The prophet and his household are the true followers and speak and act based on Quran, hence we may not be able to completely understand the true meaning of their positions in relationship with The Glorious God, but we know even messengers and The Glorious God’s chosen followers follow the same rule.

As per “Sayooti” – one of Sunni’s scholars – in the book called “Dor-al-Mansoor” page 324 : ”I asked prophet Muhammad about what Adam has said about his conversation with The Glorious God so God would forgive him, and he mentioned Adam has asked to be forgiven through the blessing of Muhammad, Ali, Fatemeh, Hassan and Hussein and The Glorious God has forgiven him”.

Noah’s ship is a story told in the holy book of many different religions, especially Islam and Christianity. The note of Noah was discovered by a Turkish pilot through pictures taken for Turkish geodetic institute. Once the mission was completed, they found a ship hidden in one of the pictures which was 20 km away from Mount Ararat. This is the place mentioned in in Surah Hood in Quran under Al-Jadi Mountain. 17 years later, in 1976 an American archeologist named Ron Witt started a new research h in the area. He found a written note close to Noah’s ship which was dated back to 4000 years ago.

Due to this discovery, Soviet union’s archeologists tried to figure out how to read this note, and they could confirm below as the translation of it:

“my God, and my supporter! Help me with your compassionate and forgiveness. And with the blessing of Muhammad, Ilia (Ali), Shabar (Hasan), Shobair (Hussain) and Fatemeh who are holly and loved. The cosmos is running due to their blessings, support me with the name of these holy followers of yours! Only you can guide me to the way of happiness and abundance.

This also refers to the support of prophet and his household (5-people ) . same resort is evident in Suleiman’s tablet discovered in 1918.
